Abstract：Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of retroperitoneoscopic unroofing and decompression with percutaneous nephrolithotomy ( PCNL) for renal cysts. Methods: Retroperitoneoscopic unroofing and decompression in combination with PCNL were used to treat 30 cases of renal cysts in our hospital. The successful rate, the average operation time, the perioperative bleeding volume, postoperative complications and the relapse of renal cysts were retrospectively analyzed. Results: All operations were successful performed, and no patients were converted to the open surgery. The average operation time was 25 min, and the bleeding volume was 5 mL. No hemorrhage, malignant hypertension and infection and electretyte disturbance after operation, and water signs of poisoning occurred. There was no renal cyst recurrence during a follow-up period of 6-12 months. Conclusions: The retroperitoneoscopic unroofing and decompression with PCNL for renal cysts is safe, effective and feasible, and is worthy to be recommended in clinical practice.
