Abstract:Objective: To study the therapeutic effect of flexible ureteroscopy combined with single-tract percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCN) in the treatment of complex renal stones. Methods: From May 2015 to May 2016, 45 patients with complex renal stones received treatment with flexible ureteroscopy combined with single-tract PCN. Results: Lithotripsy success rate was 91.1%(41/45). Two patients developed pyelonephritis. One patient had severe flank pain, and no other complications occurred. The incidence of complications was 6.67%(3/45). Conclusions: Flexible ureteroscopy combined with single-tract percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the treatment of complex renal stones can effectively increase stone clearance rate and reduce surgical trauma and complications.
