Abstract：Objective： To evaluate the efficacy and safety of transurethral Moses 2.0 laser enucleation of the prostate （MoLEP） in the treatment of patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia（BPH）. Methods： We chose 80 BPH patients from March 2021 to June 2021as research objects. Among them, 38 cases in MoLEP group were treated with 120W Moses laser, and 42 cases in HoLEP group with 100W holmium laser. Data were compared between the two groups, including operation time, enucleation time, postoperative bladder irrigation time, indwelling catheterization and hospitalization time, urinary incontinence, changes of maximum flow rate （Qmax） international prostate symptom score （IPSS）, residual urine volume （PVR） and so on to assess the safety and efficacy of MoLEP for BPH patients. Results： There were significant differences between the two groups in terms of hemostasis time during operation and postoperative bladder flushing volume （P<0.05）. There was no significant difference in IPSS, RUV and Qmax at 1 month and 6 months after operation between two groups （P>0.05）. There were also no significant differences in ratio of urinary incontinence and urinary parameter. Conclusions： Moses 2.0 laser enucleation of the prostate in the treatment of BPH has good hemostasis effect, high surgical efficiency, fewer complications and fast recovery advantages.
