Research progress in influencing factors of ureteral stricture after ureteral calculus surgery

Abstract:Currently there are many treatment methods for ureteral calculus, and ureteral stricture is one of the most serious complications after ureteral calculus surgery. Long-term obstruction of the upper urinary tract is prone to secondary infection and renal damage, even leading to nephrectomy. The diagnosis and treatment cycle of ureteral stricture is long and the prognosis is poor, which brings serious psychological and economic burden to patients. This article reviews the influencing factors of ureteral stricture after ureteral calculus surgery and provides references for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
