Abstract:Objective: To investigate the clinical values of nerve electrical regulation in the treatment of early micturition dysfunction in pediatric urology. Methods: From January 2014 to February 2016, 120 children in Department of Pediatric Urology of our hospital were selected and studied retrospectively. All the children were equally divided into the observation group and control group by a random number table. Two groups were given conventional surgical treatment, the control group was given conventional bladder training during the operation, and the observation group was given the nerve electrical regulation during the operation. The recovery of postoperative micturition dysfunction was recorded. Results: All the surgical operations were successfully completed. The total effective rate in observation group and control group was 98.3% and 88.3% respectively (P<0.05). After treatment, the frequency of micturition and the number of 24-h urinary incontinence in the observation group were (6.53±1.32) times and (0.89±0.42) times, respectively, significantly less than those in the control group of (8.92±1.41) times and (1.87±0.54) times (P<0.05). There was significant difference in the maximum urethral pressure and filling phase detrusor pressure in the observation group and the control group before and after the treatment (P<0.05), and between two groups after treatment (P<0.05). The incidence of infection, intestinal function change, pelvic hematoma and other complications in the observation group and control group was 10.0% and 8.3% respectively (P>0.05). Conclusions: The neural electrical intervention used in pediatric urology can improve early micturition dysfunction, the maximum urethral pressure and filling phase detrusor pressure, and has better security.
