Abstract:Objective: To explore the effects of blood lipid levels on the incidence of ureteral calculi in patients. Methods: Retrospective analysis of clinical data of 138 patients with ureteral calculi admitted to our hospital from January 2015 to January 2018, and retrospectively analyze the clinical data of 138 volunteers who came to our hospital for health check. Univariate and Logistic multivariate analysis of the effects of blood lipid levels on the incidence of ureteral calculi in patients. And analyze the serum indicators of patients with dyslipidemia and ureteral calculi. Results: Univariate analysis showed body mass index (BMI), waist circumference, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and HDL-C were closely related to the incidence of ureteral calculi (P<0.05). Logistic multivariate analysis showed that high TC, high TG, high LDL-C and low HDL-C were risk factors for ureteral calculi (P<0.05). The blood uric acid level of 138 patients with ureteral calculi was higher than that of healthy group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in serum sodium, serum calcium and magnesium levels between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusions: Patients with ureteral calculi often have dyslipidemia, and monitoring of patients with high TC, high TG, high LDL-C, and low HDL-C should be strengthened to reduce the incidence of ureteral stones.
