Abstract：Objective: To investigate theeffects of fast-track surgery in perioperative nursing of patients undergoing retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy. Methods: A total of 128 cases of rectal cancer undergoing colostomy in our hospital were selected from December 2013 to May 2015. They were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the admission sequence (n=62 each). The control group was given conventional care, and the observation group given fast-track surgery care. Time for early ambulation, first eating and venous transfusion, postoperative hospital stay, hospitalization costs and complications were evaluated. Results: The mean time of postoperative ambulation, scores of VAS at 24 h after the operation, time of first eating, transfusion time, postoperative hospital stays and hospitalization costs in the observation group were (10.5±4.2) h, (16.5±4.2) score, (8.2±3.3) h, (2.5±1.0) h, (3.0±1.5) days, and (2.1±0.4) ten thousand yuan, which were significantly different from those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complication in the observation group was 4.84%, which was significantly lower than in the control group (17.74%) (P<0.05). The satisfaction of patients was 98.39% in the observation group, significantly higher than in the control group (77.42%) (P<0.05). Conclusions: Fast track surgery nursing intervention adopted in patients undergoing retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy can effectively reduce the incidence of complications, and be accepted by the patients, which is worthy of further promotion in clinical practice.
