Abstract:Objective:To explore the preventive measure for the complications of retroperitoneal laparoscopic partial nephrectomy. Methods:Retroperitoneal laparoscopic partial nephrectomy was performed in 35 cases of renal cell carcinoma, 1 case of renal cortex fibroma and 57 cases of renal hamartoma. The tumor size was 2.0-5.0 cm in diameter. Results:74 cases was technically successful. Another 19 cases were converted to open surgery due to hemorrhage, among them 7 cases was performed nephrectomy. Urine leakage occurred in 2 cases, both of which recovered 7-10 days later under installed double-J in ureter. The mean time of operation was 100 min.Warm ischemia time was 34 min.The blood loss was 180 (30-800)ml. Seven patients received a blood transfusion of 400 -800 ml.Convalescence was achieved after operation and the hospital stay was 10 -15 days. One tumor recurrence was found during a follow-up of one year which received nephrectomy. No tumor recurrence occured during a follow-up of 1-48 month(s) of other case. Conclusions:Retroperitoneal laparoscopic partial nephrectomy is a high technique required、minimally invasive, safe and feasible treatment with quick recovery.
