Laparoscopic technology in urological reconstructive surgery(792 cases report)

Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the operative technique and the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic technology in urological reconstructive surgery. Methods:792 patients were treated with laparoscopic surgery from 2003 to 2012, including 96 cases of pyeloureteroplasty, 258 cases of partial nephrectomy, 10 cases of retrocaval ureter,16 cases of nephrectomy of duplicated kidney,133 cases of ureterolithotomy, 6 cases of partial cystotomy, 131 cases of radical cystectomy and 142 cases of radical prostatectomy. Results:The first time success rate of surgery was 94.2%. The operation time ranged f rom 35 to 480 minutes, mean (100±33)min and the blood loss was 30-2 500 ml, mean (180±39)ml. The hospital stay was 3 to 15 days. Conclusions:laparoscopic urological reconstructive surgery is more difficult. Superb stitching, knotting techniques will greatly shorten the operation time. The patiets need long-term follow up after operation.
