Abstract:Objective:To discuss a new method for the diagnosis and treatment of complex urinary fistula by summarizing our successful experiences. Methods:An old patient who had bladder carcinoma and rectal cancer concurrently got leakage of urine after the procedures including Bricker operation and Hartmann operation simultaneously. Firstly, the precise location of the orificium fistulae was definited by intubation and visualization through the fistulous tract at the circumstance of DSA fluoroscopy; then puncturation and fistulization were operated; finally, one double-J catheter was put into impaired ureter. Results:Urinary fistula was cured after these procedures. Renal function and ultrasound figure of the patient was normal half a year later. Conclusions:This method could be applied to cure complicated urinary fistula, especially for patients whose location of orificium fistulae could not be found.
