Abstract:Intrahepatic adrenocortical adenoma derived from adrenal hepatic fusion are rare and difficult to differentiate from liver tumors, and conventional retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy is often difficult to remove. Thorough preoperative evaluation should be performed, and if necessary, multidisciplinary discussion should be held to develop appropriate surgical strategies. Here we present a case of an adrenocortical adenoma of adrenal fusion origin in the adrenal liver and review the literature in relation to the diagnosis of adrenocortical adenoma of adrenal fusion tissue and related surgical strategies.
