Abstract:Objective: To introduce the experience in application of PINPOINT system in laparoscopic partial nephrectomy. Methods: Seven patients (including 1 case of endogenous tumor) with renal tumor were given laparoscopic partial nephrectomy. We identified the location of tumor through ICG infusion by PINPOINT system. Results: Seven cases of laparoscopic partial nephrectomy were performed successfully. Cutting margins were 3-5 mm away from the normal renal tissue. The endogenous tumor in one case was positioned quickly and was removed completely. Clear cell renal cell carcinoma was confirmed pathologically in all cases. Conclusions: The margin of renal tumor can be identified easily through PINPOINT system, and endogenous tumor can be identified easily without intraoperative ultrasound, which may gain more popularization.
