Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical application value and efficacy of ureteroscopic urethral realignment in the treatment of urethral injury.Methods:Fifteen cases with urethral injury were performed urethral realignment under the guidance of ureteroscope to place the urethral catheter.Catheterization was kept 3 weeks to achieve urethra continuity.Results:Thirteen cases were successful, 2 patinents were conversion to open surgeries. 9 cases urinate unobstructed without urethral dilation after operation. 5 cases postoperative urethral stricture,performed urethral dilation for 1-6 months.1 patient had performed second-stage open urethral anastomosis due to perform refuse performed urethral dilation. All the cases were followed-up for 3-12 months, no dysuria and sexual dysfunction occurred.Conclusions:Ureteroscopic urethral realignment is feasible,simple and safe for urethral rupture with advantages as less trauma and better effect.
