Abstract:Partial resection of renal tumor (PN) is more and more widely applied clinically. With the progress of minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (LPN) or robotic-assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (RAPN) has become the recommended surgical approach. The evaluation system of systematic evaluation for the PN complex complexity is also gradually improved. At present, the urologists recognize that perirenal fat thickness and peritoneal fat adhesions can make PN surgery more difficult. In this paper, we reviewed the recent literatures on the assessment of PN surgery, and systematically introduced the systematic review of the clinical significance of preoperative evaluation of partial nephrectomy by renal fat thickness, perirenal fat adduction and MAP scoring system.
