Abstract：Robotic partial nephrectomy (RPN) is used in the treatment of renal neoplasm characterized by minimal invasion, low complication incidence, and better renal function preservation. RPN has the benefits of peculiar features such as improved dexterity, more accurate operation and 3-dimensional visualization. RPN may help surgeons more over laparoscopic partial nephrectomy. With the accumulation of surgical experience and the development of medical technology, RPN will lead the surgical therapy of partial nephrectomy in the future
