Abstract:More and more evidence indicates that laparoscopic or robotic assisted laparoscopic extended and precise pelvic lymphadenectomy can increase the resection rate of lymph gland and attain a better local control and prolong the progression-free survival, however the excised range still needs to be discussed. This article will introduce the new experiences of laparoscopic or robotic assisted laparoscopic extended pelvic lymphadenectomy, and discuss the anatomical background, the limited factors and oncological effect of the new technique.
