Abstract：Objective:To explore the clinical effect of subinguinal varicocelectomy in the treatment of recurrent varicocele. Methods:The recurrent patients in 5 cases of laparoscope and 6 cases of traditional open internal spermatic vein high ligation were operated by inguinal subinguinal varicocelectomy under the microscope. The data of preoperative and postoperative semen quality, preoperative and postoperative symptoms, postoperative complications and recurrence rate were compared. Results:All of the 11 cases were successfully operated. No recurrence was obtained during the first half of the year. The sperm count, sperm motility and sperm concentration were significantly improved. Postoperative scrotum discomfort was significantly improved, and no complication occurred. Conclusions:It is safe and effective to treat the patients of recurrent varicocele with subinguinal varicocelectomy under the microscope, which is worthy of clinical application.
