Deroofing of simple renal cyst by percutaneous intracystic approach nephrolithotomy(PCNL) (Report of 12 cases)

Abstract：Objective: To explore the efficacy and safety of deroofing of simple renal cyst by percutaneous intracystic approach nephrolithotomy(PCNL). Methods: From February 2011 to October 2014, deroofing of simple renal cyst by percutaneous intracystic approach was taken for 12 patients with simple cysts in renal. Results: The procedures were successfully completed in 12 patients No sever complications such as massive hemorrhage, injury of surrounding organs occrrrde in 12 patients. The mean operation time was 38 (20-116) min, The average bleeding volume was 8 (5-15) mL, No cysts recurrence was found during an average of 15-mouth follow-up period. Conclusions: Deroofing of simple renal cyst by percutaneous intracystic approach nephrolithotomy(PCNL) is featured by short-term efficacy and safety.
