Clinical experience of urolithiasis complicated with urinary sepsis

Abstract：Objective: To summaryize the initial experience of urolithiasis complicated with urinary tract infection and sepsis. Methods: We reviewed retrospectively the case records of 101 patients who suffered from urolithiasis from January 2016 to September 2016 in our hospital. Then, the patients with urolithiasis complicated withurinary tract infection and sepsis were screened out. Results: A total of 101 patients with urolithiasis were included in this study, of which 9 patients were complicated with urinary sepsis. The diagnosis was mainly made by bacterial culture, and all the patients were safely discharged. Conclusions: Urinary sepsis is a clinical emergency, and early diagnosis, early intervention and early treatment are necessary.
