Abstract：Objective： To observe the clinical value of one-stitch praeputial frenum fixation in the circumcision of disposable prepuce cutting stapler. Methods： The clinical data of 300 patients with redundant prepuce or phimosis subject to operated circumcision in our hospital during June 2018 and June 2019 were collected. The patients in the observation group were treated with one-stitch praeputial frenum fixation, and those in the control group were treated with conventional method. The dislocation angle of praeputial frenum, the accuracy of the length of praeputial frenum and the satisfaction of the surgery were observed in two groups. Results： The dislocation angle of praeputial frenumin in the observation group was significantly reduced as compared with that in the control group. The rate of reaching the standard of the length of praeputial frenum was 97.33% in the observation group, significantly higher than that in the control group. The rate of satisfaction of the surgery in the observation group was significantly higher than in the control group. All the comparisons mentioned above showed statistically significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion： The application of one-stitch praeputial frenum fixation in the circumcision of disposable prepuce cutting stapler can reduce the dislocation angle of praeputial frenum, accurately retain the length of praeputial frenum and improve the patients’ satisfaction.
