Abstract:Partial nephrectomy can provide long-term benefit for patients with T1-stage kidney cancer, and the effect of tumor control is the same as that of radical nephrectomy. Therefore, partial nephrectomy is more applied in the treatment of kidney cancer. With the superior performance of the robotic surgical system, robot-assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy (RAPN)has obvious advantages in nephron-sparing surgery and its application prospect is broad. RAPN will be the mainstream of the nephron-sparing surgery for kidney cancer in the future.
